In 1952, BSA membership passed the 3 million mark.

Viking Council Virtual Patch Collection

Over the years, the Viking Council has had a number of different patches. We have constructed a "virtual patch collection" for all to enjoy. Items will be added to this collection when received from Scouters that have been part of the Viking Council over the years. Current needs include the various Troop Patches from the 2005 Jamboree Units.

The ScoutingBSA.org web site is a legacy site of the Viking Council BSA, now Northern Star Council.
This site was the original council site and was active from 1996 to 2002 and run by volunteers. As the web became more important to Scouting, the council took over with paid staff. This site is no longer maintained but is an interesting snapshot of an early Scouting web site.    You can share your comments
