All jamboree troops/teams will be organized as 
            provisional troops/teams. Troop/team leaders will be selected by 
            local council jamboree committee(s).Scout 
            Qualifications
            
             Boy 
            Scouts and Varsity Scouts must be at least First Class Scouts. They 
            must have completed the sixth grade or be at least 12 years of age 
            by July 1, 2005, but not reached their 18th birthday by August 3, 
            2005. All Scouts must participate in a prejamboree training 
            experience; file a Personal Health and Medical Record prior to the 
            prejamboree training; have been active in a troop or team for at 
            least 6 months prior to July 1, 2005; be approved by the unit leader 
            and council. 
            Leader Qualifications
            Scoutmaster and First Assistant Scoutmaster
            
             Have 
            served as a Scoutmaster for at least one year during the three-year 
            period prior to July 1, 2005; have completed basic Scoutmaster 
            training; participate in a prejamboree training experience; file a 
            personal health and medical record prior to the prejamboree 
            training; be approved by the local council. (Although not required, 
            Wood Badge and/or Scoutmaster's Key is a desirable qualification.) 
            The Scoutmaster must be able to serve as a role model of physical 
            fitness. 
            Second Assistant Scoutmaster
            
             At 
            least 21 years of age by July 1, 2005, and have served actively in 
            an adult troop leadership position for at least one year during the 
            three-year period prior to July 1, 2005; participate in a 
            prejamboree training experience; file a personal health and medical 
            record prior to the prejamboree training; be approved by the local 
            council. 
              
            Third Assistant Scoutmaster
            
             At 
            least 18 years of age (but not have reached 21) by August 3, 2005; 
            have served actively in a Scout troop leadership position; 
            participate in a prejamboree training experience; file a personal 
            health and medical record prior to the prejamboree training; be 
            approved by the local council. 
              
            Attending as a Staff Member
            It is also possible for individuals, both youth and adults, to 
            attend Jamboree as a staff members. For more information on Jamboree

            Costs
            Participation cost depends on the local council tour, which is 
            developed by each council jamboree committee prior to the jamboree. 
            The cost includes the jamboree fee, travel and tour costs, meals, 
            lodging, unit and patrol equipment, accident and sickness insurance, 
            and the cost of pre-jamboree training.
