A bull's-eye on the competition for accuracy
The Catapult competition was the main event for Saturday afternoon and also the beginning of the rain.
Simple, sturdy, but not exactly hand hewn and lashed.  The entries ranged from primitive to engineering marvels.  In the end, range and accuracy did not go "hand-in-hand"
The "Hernia-maker"

Required modification to meet gravity requirements but had the only articulated "fling-shot arm"

Big Red!

Add more sand!  More Sand!

Used sand and a cement block for gravity power

Certainly the most logging chain, lead weights and most rustic wheels of any entry!
